Experiment 3 - Fruit Leather (Peach)

Introduction

In the last experiment, our group have given a task to varying the sugar and honey in the fruit leather. We just need to follow as the basic formula of the fruit leather but in the amount of ingredient and different of procedure. As the result, we can see in the table of result according to the different procedure with comment from other group from their experiment.

Basic formula – Fruit Leather (Peach)

Ingredient - A

2 ½ c Peach

25g Sugar

Method

1. Puree Peach in blender until smooth together with sugar.

2. Line jelly roll pan with aluminum foil.

3. Spread the fruit evenly in pan

4. Dry it in oven at 140°F(60°C) until complete dry and no longer sticky( at list 4 hours until 12 hours).

5. Wrap the roll tightly in aluminum foil and store at room temperature in a tightly closed.
